What types of vehicles does Argo Expedite work with?

We work with Cargo Vans, Sprinter Vans, and Box Trucks. Cargo and Sprinter Vans must be 2015 or newer and meet our basic vehicle and insurance requirements.

What insurance coverage is required?

Accepted Answer

Owner-operators must maintain active commercial insurance for trucking-for-hire operations, including:$1,000,000 Commercial Auto Liability$100,000 Broad Form Cargo Coverage with a maximum $1,000 deductibleUnlimited nationwide operating radiusAll vehicles and approved drivers must be listed and covered under the policyPolicies limited to a 200, 300, or 500-mile operating radius are not accepted.

How quickly can I start working with Argo?

Accepted Answer

Once all required documents are submitted and approved, the onboarding process can typically be completed within 24 hours, allowing you to get connected with dispatch quickly.

Does my vehicle need to be owned, or can it be leased?

Accepted Answer

Your vehicle may be owned or leased, provided you have the required documentation and authorization to operate it commercially.

Is there forced dispatch?

Accepted Answer

No. As an independent owner-operator, you are free to accept or decline any load offered to you. Each available load offer will include the pickup and delivery details, rate, and other relevant information so you can make an informed decision.Once you accept a load offer, please allow the dispatch team up to 15 minutes to secure and book the load. During this time, you should not accept or pursue other load offers from another dispatcher.

How often do owner-operators get paid?

Owner-operators are paid weekly. Standard payments are processed every Friday for all loads delivered between Tuesday of the previous week and Monday of the current week. For faster payment, Quick Pay is available within 48 hours of delivery for a 5% fee.

Is loading or unloading required?

Accepted Answer

No. Argo Expedite operates with a no-touch freight policy. Owner-operators are not required to load or unload cargo and should not handle the freight during pickup or delivery.

Question 8

Does Argo charge owner-operators a dispatch fee?

Accepted Answer

No. The rate presented to you by our dispatch team is the amount you will receive for the load, with no additional dispatch fee deducted from your payment. Argo’s compensation is negotiated separately with the broker or customer and is not deducted from the owner-operator’s agreed rate.
